Been here a couple of times and never been disappointed. Staff are always friendly and great service. It’s very clean and food tastes Devine will definitely be coming more often

Why on earth would you go to Saimese Doll when you have this tried and true Thai on your doorstep!
Not only are all the food portions more substantial and much better value – its all served with a smile and genuine friendly attitude which makes dining there even more of a pleasure.
The decor is clean and stylish.
We gorged ourselves on juicy prawn spring rolls $10, buffalo chicken wings which were more meaty than your usual ‘wings’ including drumstick and My Darling says are some of the best he’s had $9.50, Golden Sizzler ginger chicken stirfry $24.50, and a mountain of Royal fried rice with crab and prawn $24.50. The white rice was served in the shape of a heart and $2 per person – I’m pretty sure this is unlimited but we didn’t need seconds, there was soooo much food already ;)
The great thing about #GoldenSilk is its BYO! So pop next door to the Trusts liquor store and get yourself a nice Riesling to wash it all down with. This combo of sweet wine and fresh flavours is so good I guzzled half a bottle all to myself!
Me and My Darling were in a food frenzy by now and I had to go one step further when I saw they had banana fritters on the menu, making me salivate remembering the Thai street food carts who made these fritters on the spot and served them with some sort of creamy condensed milk/custard concoction that made them irresistible… I had to have one!
What was presented to us was beyond my wildest expectations… the freshest banana with the crispiest golden tempura-type batter, lightly deep fried… and I felt like and excited 6 year old when I saw the scoop of pretty pink coloured toasted coconut and marshmallow ice-cream decadently dressed with whipped cream, hundreds and thousands and dollops of strawberry and chocolate syrup!!!! : O : O Heavenly! A bargain for $8.50.
